Overview

Need to block off time for lunch, travel, or a day off? This article will show you how to schedule time off or unavailable time periods on your Aryeo calendar using Time Blocks. These time blocks prevent appointments from being booked during unavailable times.

How to Create a Time Block

You can add a time block for yourself or any team member right from the Aryeo Calendar.

  1. Go to the Calendar page.

  2. Click +Create in the top right hand corner of the page.

  3. Switch to Time Block Mode

  4. Click the Switch to Block button at the top of the window.

    1. This will allow you to create a new Time Block (or switch back to appointments as needed).

  5. Enter Time Block Details

    1. Set the Start Time and End Time for the block.

    2. Add a Title (e.g., “Team Meeting,” “Travel Time,” or “Out of Office”).

  6. Assign the Team Member

    1. Choose the team member you’re scheduling the block for from the dropdown list.

  7. (Optional) Add a Description

    1. You can include any relevant notes for internal use.

  8. Save the Block

    1. Click Create Block to save.

    2. The blocked time will now appear on the calendar and prevent appointments from being scheduled during that period.
