Overview

This article walks you through how to set up a CNAME record in your GoDaddy account to point your chosen subdomain (e.g., listings.yourdomain.com) to Aryeo. This allows your property websites to appear under your custom domain.

Before you begin: Make sure you've followed the steps in the Custom Company Domain setup article to add your domain inside your Aryeo account.

GoDaddy DNS Instructions:

Step 1: Log in to your account at www.godaddy.com by clicking Sign In at the top right and entering your login credentials.

If you only have purchased one domain, you will be immediately redirected to the domain's Workspace. Otherwise, you will be redirected to the Domain Portfolio page.

Step 2: Click on Domain / Manage Domain.

Step 3: Click on the DNS tab.

Step 4: Under DNS Records, click the Add New Record button.

Step 5: Complete the following dropdown/fields and click Save:

  • Type: CNAME

  • Host: Enter the subdomain you nominated, e.g., listings

  • TTL: Leave as Default

Step 6: Once you have finished adding a CNAME record for your subdomain, finish Step 4 in the Custom Company Domain setup article.
