In this article, we will walk you through the steps on how to add a CNAME record for your nominated subdomain e.g. listings - that points your custom domain to Aryeo so your tours appear as https://app.yourdomain.com/123-main-street/branded.

If you haven't already, follow the steps found in the Custom Company Domain article to add your custom domain to your Aryeo account before proceeding with the steps below:

To add a CNAME record through Bluehost, follow the steps below:

Once you have logged in to your Bluehost cPanel account, the following steps will show you how to access the editor:

Step 1: Click the Domains tab.

  • For Legacy Accounts, the Domains option will appear in the sub-menu at the top of the screen.

  • Bluerock Account users will see the Domains tab on the left-hand side menu.

Step 2: Click the Zone Editor from the sub-menu.

Once you have accessed the DNS Zone Editor these steps will explain how to add a new record.

Step 3: Scroll down to the heading named Add DNS Record. Complete the following fields:

  • Host Record: anything you want! Some common examples of what Aryeo users have used are "app", "listings", or "properties"

  • TTL: leave as is, default is β€œ14400”

  • Type: CNAME

Step 4: Click on the Add Record button to create the record.

Step 5: Finally, once you have completed the steps to add a CNAME record for your subdomain, go back to Step 4 of the How do I add a custom company domain to my Aryeo account? Article.
