In this article, we will walk you through the steps on how to add a CNAME record for your nominated subdomain e.g. listings - that points your custom domain to Aryeo so your tours appear as https://app.yourdomain.com/123-main-street/branded.

If you haven't already, follow the steps found in the Custom Company Domain article to add your custom domain to your Aryeo account before proceeding with the steps below:

To add a CNAME record through Squarespace, follow these 9 steps:

Squarespace DNS Instructions:

Step 1: Log in to your account at www.squarespace.com by clicking Sign In at the top right.

Step 2: In the Home Menu, click Settings, and then click Domains.

Step 3: Under Squarespace Domains, click the domain name for the domain that you would like to connect to Aryeo. Usually, this is the Primary Domain.

Step 4: Select DNS Records from the Menu.

Step 5: Scroll down to Custom Records.

Step 6: In the Custom Records section, Click the Add New Record Button to the right.

Step 7: Complete the following fields and click Save:

  • Host Name: anything you want! Some common examples of what Aryeo users have used are "app", "listings", or "properties"

  • Type: CNAME

  • Priority:

Step 8: Click Add to save the record to your settings.

Step 9: Finally, once you have completed the steps to add a CNAME record for your subdomain, go back to Step 4 of the How do I add a custom company domain to my Aryeo account? Article.
