Customer Groups (Formerly Pricing Groups)

Organize your customers based on their brokerage, team, office, or any other criteria.

Customer Groups is a powerful new feature that allows you to manage and organize your customers based on their brokerage, team, office, or any other criteria. By grouping customers together, you can streamline various aspects of your business, such as billing, marketing templates, and pricing. Here is a brief overview of the different functionalities and options available within the Customer Groups.

Customer groups unlock these options and more for your business.

#1: Set New Prices For Certain Products

First, create a Customer group to do this, click “Customers” from your dashboard. Then click on “Customer Groups” → “New Customer Group”

Enter a group name and description, and click “Start Configuring Customer Group”

Scroll down to “Associated Customers” then choose which customers are a part of this customer group then click “Update Customers” you can add as many customers as you want.

Next, configure what price override you'd like to offer these customers.

For this example, we've reduced the price of our "HD Photos" product to $89

And now, when an order is created using one of the customers in this pricing group, these price overrides will be used for our "HD Photos" product! However, if we create an order for a customer outside this pricing group, we'll see our default prices used for "HD Photos".

#2: Hiding Products For Certain Customers

You can also enable hiding and showing products for certain groups of your customers.

First, go to customer groups and click Edit. Scroll down to “Pricing Table for sample group”

By clicking on the eye icon next to the price of our product variants, we can hide each by default.

#3: Billing Group

You also have the option to dedicate a customer to pay for all orders under this group.

To do this, click “Edit” customer group. Scroll down to Billing settings, add the customer to assume billing responsibility for payment of the orders of this group. Click Update Billing Settings once done.
