Overview
Tipping is a simple and effective way to boost your team’s earnings and give clients the opportunity to reward great service. Aryeo makes it easy to collect tips during the payment and allows you to track and export tip data for reporting purposes.
How Tipping Works
Tipping is optional, but when enabled, your customers can add a tip when making a payment via the checkout flow. Clients can click Add to add a tip.
The preset tip options are for 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30%, however your customers are able to enter any custom amount they would like to tip in the amount field.
Enabling Tip Collection
To allow tips, you can check the box to enable tip collection on the Order & Payment Settings page.
Viewing Tips After Payment
After a payment is completed, if a tip was added, a new $ icon will be visible alongside the applied amount for that payment. Click on this $ icon to view the tip amount.
You can also go into your Orders page and export a CSV file with any orders that are paid. There will be a column in the exported CSV file that contains the tip amount for you to view.
