Collecting Tips on Orders

Tipping is an effective way to boost your team’s earnings and give clients the opportunity to reward great service! Aryeo makes it easy to enable collecting tips when your customers make a payment for each order. You can track the tips your teams receive and export tip data for reporting purposes.

Tipping is optional and must be enabled. When enabled, your customers can add a tip when making a payment. Clients can simply click the Add button to add a tip.

Additionally, you can display preset tip options that your customers can choose from. The preset tip options are for 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30%. However, your customers can still enter any custom amount they would like to tip in the open amount field.

To allow customers to leave tips, check the box next to "Enable tip collection?" on the Order & Payment Settings page.

In addition, you can check the box next to "Expand and display tip amounts by default?" to display the preset tip options of 10%, 15%, 20%, etc. to your customers. Customers can still enter a custom tip amount.

After the customer completes a payment and added a tip, a new $ icon will be visible on the Order page alongside the amount for the payment. Click on this $ icon to view the tip amount.

You can go to your Orders page in your Aryeo account, then click the Export button in the top right corner. This will export a CSV file of your orders.

There will be a column in the exported CSV file that contains the tip amount received for each order.

Q: Is tipping required for customers?

A: No, tipping is completely optional for customers during checkout.

Q: Will the option to leave a tip show up on my order forms by default?

A: No, you must first enable the option to allow customers to leave a tip in order for customers to see the option to leave a tip on your order forms.
