Learn how to manage payment collection through Aryeo using Stripe, Square, or manual options.


Overview

Aryeo makes it easy to collect payments for your orders by integrating with payment processors like Stripe or Square. You can choose to collect payments automatically or manually, set tipping options, and control when clients are prompted to pay.


Accessing Payment Settings

To configure your payment preferences:

Navigate to Settings > Orders & Payments.

From this page, you can:

  • Enable payment collection via Aryeo using Stripe or Square

  • Choose whether to allow payments before orders are fulfilled

  • Enable tip collection from clients during checkout


Automatic Payment Collection Options

Once Stripe or Square is connected, you can automate how and when payments are collected. Your company can use one of two main workflows which can be set on a per-order form basis via each order form edit page:

Collect Payment at Time of Order

  • Clients are prompted to pay upfront before submitting their order.

  • You can choose to require full payment or just a partial deposit.

Collect Payment at Media Delivery

  • Clients are required to complete payment before downloading listing media.

Manual Payment Collection

Prefer to collect payment yourself? You can do so directly from the order page:

  1. Open the order you want to collect payment for.

  2. Click the Collect Payment button.

  3. (Optional) You can select Custom Amount if you're collecting a partial payment or a different total than the amount due.

  4. Choose from the following options:

    1. Apply Credit – Use an available account credit to cover the order.

    2. Debit/Credit – Enter the client’s card information to process the payment.

    3. Manual Payment – Select this option if the client paid via:

      1. PayPal

      2. Venmo

      3. Cash

      4. Check

      5. Other


FAQ

Q: What happens if no payment processor is connected?

A: You’ll only be able to track payments received outside of Aryeo using the Manual Payment option.

Q: Can I allow clients to pay after delivery?

A: Yes. You can disable automatic payment enforcement and allow post-delivery payment through your Payment Settings.

Q: Can clients leave tips during checkout?

A: Yes, enable Tip Collection in your Payment Settings to allow clients to add a tip during payment.
