Overview
This article explains how to manage which members of your team are designated as Service Providers and can be assigned to appointments. This allows you to differentiate between admins, office staff, and team members who are out in the field servicing appointments.
What Is a Service Provider?
In Aryeo, a Service Provider is a team member who is available to be scheduled for appointments through the Scheduling System.
Not every user in your account needs to be a service provider. For example:
Admins and office staff typically manage operations but do not fulfill appointments.
Photographers, videographers, and other field staff should be marked as service providers.
Designating service providers ensures:
Only eligible team members are scheduled for appointments.
Admins and internal staff aren’t accidentally booked.
The scheduling system functions efficiently and accurately.
View Service Provider Status
You can quickly check each team member’s status from the Team page:
Look for the Service Provider column.
This column will show:
Yes – if the team member is a service provider.
No – if they are not.
How to Update Service Provider Status
To adjust a team member’s service provider setting:
Go to the Team page in your account.
Click Edit next to the team member you want to update.
Click on the Service Provider section.
Check the box to mark the user as a service provider.
Leave the box unchecked if the user should not be a service provider.
Click Update Team Member to save.
How to Assign Service Providers to Products
You can assign specific service providers to each product and add-on, ensuring that only the right team members are scheduled for services they can fulfill during appointments.
Navigate to the Products section in your Aryeo account.
Click Edit next to the product or add-on you'd like to update.
Scroll down to the Product Providers section.
Check the box next to each service provider who is qualified to provide this product.
Click Update Product Providers to save your changes.
FAQ
Q: Can I change a team member’s service provider status later?
A: Yes! You can update this setting at any time from the Team page.
Q: What happens if a user isn’t marked as a service provider?
A: They will not appear as an option when your clients schedule appointments using your order form.
Q: Do service providers need specific permissions?
A: They should have the appropriate access levels to view and manage their appointments, but the service provider setting is separate from general permissions.
