Overview

This article explains how both photographers and clients can postpone appointments in Aryeo. You’ll learn how to use this feature from the calendar, the order edit page, and the customer portal, as well as how to enable it for your clients.

How Photographers Can Postpone an Appointment

Photographers can postpone appointments via two ways:

Postpone from the Aryeo Calendar

  1. Go to your Aryeo Calendar.

  2. Click on the scheduled appointment you want to postpone.

  3. In the appointment details panel, scroll down and click Postpone.

  4. A pop-up will appear asking: "Are you sure you'd like to postpone this appointment?"

  5. Choose whether to notify the customer or disable notifications.

  6. Click Postpone Appointment to confirm.

The appointment will now be marked as “unscheduled” on the Order page.

Postpone from the Order Edit Page

  1. Open the order in Edit mode.

  2. Look under Appointment Actions for the Postpone button.

  3. Click Postpone, review the confirmation pop-up, and select your notification preference.

  4. The appointment will be marked as unscheduled, and the previous time will be displayed for your reference.

How to Allow Customers to Postpone Appointments

To give your clients the ability to postpone their own appointments:

  1. Go to Availability > Appointment Settings.

  2. Scroll to the Postpone section.

  3. Check the box for Allow Customers To Postpone Appointments.

  4. Set the Postponement Period to define how close to the appointment time clients can postpone.

  5. Click Update Postponement Settings to save.

How Customers Can Postpone Appointments

Clients can postpone appointments from the customer portal:

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal.

  2. Navigate to the order they want to postpone.

  3. Scroll down and click on the Postpone button.

  4. Read the pop-up carefully.

  5. Click Postpone Appointment to confirm.

Note: Only photographers can reschedule postponed appointments. Agents cannot reschedule them.
