The ability to Postpone appointments is an available feature within the Aryeo Scheduling system.

Starting on the Aryeo Calendar, when you click on a scheduled appointment, you will see the complete appointment information. Below that, you'll now see the option to Postpone the appointment if needed. Postponing an appointment will mark it "unscheduled" on the order index/edit page.

After updating the appointment, you will be sent a notification with details about the appointment that looks like this:

  • Order # Appointment Postponed

  • Description - Appointment Details

  • Previously Scheduled For Time - We will display the previously scheduled for time on this notification for your records.

  • Estimated Appointment Duration

Appointments can also be postponed directly on the Order Edit page. There is a new button under the Appointment Actions called Postpone that is now available to use. See the example below:

Selecting Postpone will present a pop-up asking "Are you sure you'd like to postpone this appointment?" with the option to notify or disable the notification to the customer. When you come back to the order edit page after updating the appointment details, you will see that the appointment is now "unscheduled" and we will display the time that it was postponed.

You can come back to the order anytime and schedule the appointment when ready. 🎉

Can the agent reschedule a postponed appointment?

Currently, only Admins/Photographers can schedule postponed appointments because postponing an appointment will automatically update its status as “Unscheduled”.
