Important Domain Renewal Timeline
Grace Period: After a domain expires, you typically have a 30-day grace period to renew it at the standard rate.
Redemption Period: If the domain is not renewed in time, it enters a Redemption Period at the Registry.
Final Expiration: If still not renewed, the domain will be released to the public normally 70–80 days after the original expiration date, unless it is auctioned by upstream vendors.
Please note: Timelines are subject to change based on registry and vendor policies.
FAQ
Q: Will I lose access to my custom property website domain if my domain expires?
A: Yes. Once the domain expires and is not renewed, your property website will no longer be accessible via that custom domain.
Q: Can I renew a domain after it has expired?
A: Yes, during the grace period. After that, it may be possible during the redemption period, but additional fees may apply.
