Create and manage multiple appointments on an individual listing

Overview

Need to schedule multiple appointments for the same listing? This article will walk you through how to create and manage more than one appointment on a listing.

When to Use Multiple Appointments

Here are a few common use cases:

  • Scheduling a twilight shoot separately from the main daytime shoot

  • Sending one team member for standard photography and another for 3D scans or video

  • Managing multi-day shoots for large properties


How to Add and Manage Multiple Appointments

  1. Navigate to the Listing page where you are needing to add an additional appointment.

  2. Because a new appointment cannot be created without existing appointment items, before creating an additional appointment on the listing, you will need to do at least one of the following:

    1. Add a new order item(s) to the existing order

    2. Add a new separate order to the listing containing new order items

    3. Un-assign order items from the existing appointment by setting them to No Appointment

  3. Scroll down to the Appointment section and click Add Appointment

  4. In the slide over menu, confirm the unscheduled order items that will be assigned to this appointment.

  5. Schedule the new appointment using the Availability Picker or Manual Choice options. For additional details on creating new appointments, click here.

  6. Click Create.

  7. You should now see the separate appointments on your listing page.


How to Assign / Reassign Order Items to Differing Appointments

The below process will explain how to switch order items from one appointment on a listing, to another.

  1. Within the Orders section in the Listing, expand the Order to display the list of Order Items.

  2. Click the three dot icon next to the order item you would like to reassign and then click Edit.

  3. From here, use the Appointment drop down to select from the list of available appointments on the listing or select No Appointment to un-assign the order item from any appointment.

  4. Click Save to confirm the re-assignment.

Order Items can also be unassigned and reassigned from the appointments themselves.

  1. Expand the appointment in the Appointment section

  2. Select Edit in the Appointment Items box

  3. Within the pop-up window, you will be able to see any Appointment Items currently assigned to the appointment as well as any Order Items that are have not been assigned to an appointment.

    1. Select Remove to un-assign an Order Item from the appointment

    2. Select Add to add an unassigned Order Item to the appointment.


FAQ

Q: Can I assign more than one item to a single appointment?

A: Yes! You can assign multiple items to the same appointment, or distribute items across different appointments as needed.

Q: Can a single team member be assigned to multiple appointments in one order?

A: Yes! A team member can be assigned to one or more of the appointments, depending on your scheduling needs.

Q: Why am I unable to create an additional appointment?

A: If you aren't able to create an additional appointment, it is likely because there are no available order items needing to be scheduled. You will need to either un-assign order items from the existing appointment, or add new order items to a new or existing order so that they may be able to be assigned to the new appointment.
