Overview
This article will show you how you or your clients can reschedule an appointment. Clients can make changes directly from their customer portal, reducing back-and-forth communication and giving them flexibility to manage their own appointments.
How to Reschedule an Appointment
Navigate to the Listing that contains the appointment you are needing to reschedule.
Scroll down to the Appointment section.
Click to expand the scheduled appointment and select the purple Reschedule button.
Using the slide over menu, choose whether you would like to use the Availability Picker or Manual Choice options to reschedule your appointment.
Availability Picker: This option will display a list of service providers who are able to fulfill the products in the order you previously created. You can select between All Providers to see a combination of available times, or select specific team members to see their individual availability.
Manual Choice: This option will allow you to manually select an appointment date and time as well as the team member who it will be assigned to without limiting the appointment based on availability.
Review the new details of the appointment or click Select Different Time to re-select. Click Reschedule Appointment in the bottom right corner of the page to finalize the rescheduling.
An internal notification will be sent with the new appointment details.
If you would like to send a notification of the reschedule to the customer, ensure the Notify customer of scheduling box has been checked.
How Customers Can Reschedule Their Appointments
If you allow customers to reschedule their own appointments, they will be able to reschedule appointments via their Aryeo dashboard at any time, so long as it’s within your rescheduling window. Click here to view or manage your current Appointment Settings.
The below process outlines how customers can reschedule their own appointments:
After logging into the Customer Portal, they will need to navigate to the Listing that contains the appointment they are needing to reschedule.
Scroll down to the Appointment Section
Click to expand the Appointment and select the Reschedule button.
A calendar of available dates and times will appear that the agent can select from.
A confirmation will appear informing the agent of the new appointment date and time that was selected. After selecting Reschedule, a new confirmation email will be sent to the agent with the rescheduled appointment details.

Q: Where can I adjust the rescheduling period for my clients?
A: You can update this setting in your Appointment Settings in your Aryeo account.
Q: Will I be notified when a client reschedules?
A: Yes. You’ll receive an email notification as soon as a client confirms a new date and time.
Q: Can clients cancel instead of rescheduling?
A: Yes, clients can cancel their appointment instead of rescheduling. You can optionally set up a cancellation fee that will be applied if a client cancels within a specific number of hours before the appointment’s start time.
