This article will show you how to add a home preparation checklist PDF to any of your email notification templates so clients can easily view it. Whether your checklist is hosted on your website or created using a free tool like Canva, linking it in your email notifications can help customers better prepare for their appointments.
Step 1: Upload or Create Your Checklist
You need a shareable URL for your home prep guide before adding it to Aryeo. You have two options:
If it’s already uploaded to your website, copy the public link to the PDF.
If you don’t have a link yet, you can easily create one using a free tool like Canva:
Go to canva.com and create a new checklist or upload your existing PDF.
After publishing, copy the shareable view link provided by Canva.

Step 2: Add the PDF Link to Email Templates
Once you have your PDF url link:
Go to Notifications in your account, under Settings.
Click Edit next to the notification you'd like to update the email template for (For example, the Appointment Scheduled or Appointment Reminder).
Click on the Email Template tab.
Type out your text (e.g., View our Home Prep Checklist).
Highlight the text and use the Insert Link option to paste in your PDF URL.
Click the Update button to save the updated template.
When the email is sent, clients will see a clickable link to the checklist—making it easy for them to view or download. Below is an example:

A: Yes, as long as the link is publicly viewable. Be sure to test the link to confirm clients won’t need special access.
