Customer Teams Synced to the Zillow Showcase Agent Experience

In this article you will learn about customer teams that are synced to the Zillow Showcase agent experience.

Note: Please first read these articles to gain a better understanding of the media process for Showcase listings before reading this article:

The first time an agent orders media from you using the Showcase agent experience or you accept their media request sent from the Showcase agent experience, the following actions will occur:

  1. A new customer team will be created in your Aryeo account. This new customer team will be synced with the agent’s team in the Showcase agent experience, where it is called a "workspace".

  2. A new customer profile for the agent will be created in your Aryeo account. This customer profile will be synced to the agent’s profile in the Showcase agent experience. If an existing customer profile in your Aryeo account already matches the agent's email address, a new customer profile won't be created and the existing customer profile will be synced to the Showcase agent experience.

Note: These actions will only occur the first time an agent orders media or you accept their media request from the Showcase agent experience.

If you encounter duplicate customer teams, you can merge a synced customer team with a non-synced customer team using the merge feature on the Customer Teams page.

What happens when a Customer Team is synced?

  • The name of the agent’s team will be pulled in from the Showcase agent experience and will be the name of the new customer team that is synced.

  • The customer team roster will be read-only for you, meaning you won’t be able to update the roster.

  • To update the team roster, agents on the team with an admin role will need to change the roster inside the Showcase agent experience.

  • You can add pricing plans, order form overrides, and a billing customer to a synced customer team.

  • The synced customer team will show the text “Synced to Showcase agent experience” under the Created column.

What happens when a Customer profile is synced?

  • The customer’s name and information will be pulled into your account from the Showcase agent experience, if the customer does not already have an existing customer profile in your Aryeo account.

  • The customer’s information will be read-only for you, meaning you won’t be able to update their info.

  • To update their information, the agent will need to update it within the Showcase agent experience. Changes made there by the agent will then automatically sync to their customer profile in your Aryeo account.

What’s coming next?

We are working on additional features to streamline this process, such as providing agents with the ability inside the Showcase agent experience to join an existing customer team that they are a member of with their photography company.
