What is Virtual Staging AI?

Virtual Staging AI is a cutting-edge tool that allows you to virtually stage and enhance photos in real time, through the power of AI.

What is this feature?

This integration allows you to create virtually staged images, or Day to Dusk images, using Virtual Staging AI directly from your listing pages.

How do I enable it?

To enable the Virtual Staging AI integration, navigate to the ‘Zillow media exclusives’ page (found in your left sidebar) and look for ‘Virtual Staging AI’:

After opening up the Virtual Staging AI tile, you will be able to see an overview of the feature and enable it for your company:

How do I use this feature?

Once you’ve enabled the integration, you can click the ‘Virtual Staging AI’ button on any listing and select the images that you want to stage:

For each of these selected images, you’ll then be able to choose whether you want to apply Virtual Staging or Day to Dusk enhancements.

Adding Virtual Staging

If you choose ‘Virtual Staging’, you’ll see the option to choose a ‘Room Type’ as well as a ‘Furniture Style’:

Each time you generate an image with virtual staging, three variations will be created:

Adding Day to Dusk

The ‘Day to Dusk’ option can be used to enhance the sky in an outdoor image from daytime to evening, or to create a blue sky. When applying ‘Day to Dusk’ you will have the option to select from three ‘Sky Styles’:

Each time you enhance an image with ‘Day to Dusk’, three variations will be created:

Saving to the Listing

When you’re happy with the result, you can click ‘Add to listing’ to save the image to the listing. You’ll need to do this in order for your customers to be able to see each staged image when the listing is delivered:

When adding an image to the listing, you’ll be given the choice of adding with a ‘Virtually Staged’ watermark, or without a watermark:

Q: Who is this available to?

A: Any Aryeo customer with an active subscription.

Q: Do I have to agree to any Terms of Use to use this feature?

A: Yes, you’ll need to agree to Virtual Staging AI’s Terms of Use to start using this feature.

Q: How much does it cost to use?

A: Both the ‘Standard’ and ‘Modern’ styles can be used for free. Staging an image with a ‘Premium’ style, and then saving that image to a listing, will cost $1 / image.

Pricing Examples:

  • Cost to generate 10 images with a ‘Premium’ style: $0

  • Cost to save a ‘Premium’ style image to your listing (watermark, no watermark, or both): $1

Q: Which furniture styles are free to use and which are ‘Premium’?

A: The ‘Standard’ and ‘Modern’ styles can be at no cost. All other styles will incur $1 if an image with that style is added to the listing:

Q: Will I be billed immediately when saving an image with a ‘Premium’ style to my listing?

A: No, staging costs will be added to your monthly Aryeo subscription bill.

Q: How will a company know how much they have spent on premium images each month?

A: You can track the additional costs you’ve incurred with virtual staging by navigating to Virtual Staging AI tile within the Zillow media exclusives page. Scroll down to the ‘Virtual Staging AI Usage’ section to see the number of images you’ve added to listings as well as the cost incurred. This information will also display on your company’s Aryeo subscription management page.

Q: Can I add watermarks to my staged images?

A: Yes, you’ll have the option add a ‘Virtually Staged’ watermark to your images when saving them to the listing. If the watermark option was chosen, the words ‘Virtually Staged’ will be added to the bottom left corner of the image:

Q: Is there a way to tell which images on my listing received enhancements from Virtual Staging AI?

A: Yes, the purple sparkle icon in the top left corner will indicate which images on the listing were added from the Virtual Staging AI integration:

Q: Can deleted images be restored?

A: No, they cannot be.
