Is Zillow Media Advantage℠ available on Zillow Rental listings?

No. Zillow Media Advantage℠ is available to photography companies exclusively on for-sale listings and is not currently available on Zillow Rental listings.

Which platforms support Zillow Media Advantage℠?

Zillow Media Advantage℠ is currently available through Aryeo, including Aryeo Pro, Aryeo Lite, and Aryeo’s media upload API. Enterprise customers, defined as large photography companies that operate on their own bespoke software platform, have the ability to opt into Zillow Media Advantage℠ through the Aryeo media upload API and by creating an Aryeo Lite account

How does a photographer opt in to Zillow Media Advantage℠?

Log in to your Aryeo account and visit the Zillow Integrations page. Click on the “Zillow Media Advantage℠” tile under Zillow Integrations and click the enable button. Check the boxes to agree to the media terms and conditions and usage policy, and click enable.

Once a photography company opts in, will they automatically have Photographer branding and enhanced listings on all their listings?

Yes, once enabled Photographer branding and enhanced listings will apply by default to all future media delivered by the company. When the agent publishes the listing to the MLS, Zillow will automatically identify and elevate the media on the listing to first display the HD image uploaded to Aryeo. The company’s logo and name will automatically appear in the photo viewer whenever an HD photo is displayed. These benefits will appear on both mobile and desktop.
​One caveat - Interactive virtual staging for buyers to preview different furniture styles on Zillow will take ~ 2 weeks to scale across 100% of listings. It will be available to 5% of users on 7/14 and will gradually roll out to all users by 7/28. Between 7/14 and 7/28, there will be users that will not see the feature turned on for listings because it is going through a gradual roll out. By July 28, 2026 interactive virtual staging for buyers to preview different furniture styles on Zillow will be live on all listings where photographers opt into Zillow Media Advantage℠.

Can photography companies turn this feature off on specific listings?

Yes, a photography company that has enabled Zillow Media Advantage℠ can disable this feature on a per-listing basis. To do this, a company user must navigate to the listing in Aryeo, then click on the Listing Settings button, and then uncheck the box for “Receive Zillow Media Advantage℠”. It will only be possible to uncheck this box before the listing is delivered to the customer.

What if the photographer only wants one of the features? Photographer branding or HD photos, but not both?

Photographer Branding & Enhanced listings is a single feature. When photographers opt into Zillow Media Advantage℠, they receive all benefits.

How do I ensure my photos appear on Zillow in HD quality?

Once Zillow Media Advantage℠ is enabled, Zillow will display your photos in the highest resolution possible on Zillow. This means that in most cases your photos will display in better quality than the original MLS image because MLSs typically downsize photos to a set resolution. Note, however, this varies from MLS to MLS.

How quickly will my branding and HD photos appear?

Once the agent publishes the listing to the MLS, Zillow will automatically identify and elevate the media on the listing to first display the HD image uploaded to Aryeo. It may take several hours after the listing has been published on the MLS for photographer branding and enhanced listings to appear on Zillow.

What happens if the photographer opts in but is not seeing their branding or HD photos?

Please see our Help Center for more information. If it has been several hours since the listing went live on the MLS and you are still not seeing HD photos and your company branding on Zillow, please reach out to our support team at [email protected] or call 800-273-5188.

Can I opt out of the program if I change my mind?

You can opt out of the program on a listing basis, or disable Zillow Media Advantage℠ in your Aryeo account.

Does this work retroactively on old listings?

No, the feature only applies to listings delivered after the feature is enabled in your Aryeo account. Previously delivered listings will not automatically display company branding or enhanced listings on Zillow, even if those same photos were used.

Will this slow down my listing upload or photo delivery time?

Not at all. Aryeo will continue to deliver photos to your customers as usual. Once the listing is published to the MLS, Zillow will automatically identify and elevate the media on the listing to first display the HD image uploaded to Aryeo. This process may take a few hours depending on how quickly the MLS syndicates the listing to Zillow, but it won’t impact your delivery workflow or timelines.

Is the HD icon or photographer branding a watermark?

No, the HD icon and photographer branding are not watermarks on the photos, and instead are displayed underneath the photos on Zillow.

What does HD photography look like and how does it differ from standard Zillow photos?

Most MLSs downsize photos to make the photos easier to transfer, although this varies from MLS to MLS. With Photographer Branding & HD Photos enabled, your photos will display in the highest resolution possible on Zillow, which means that in most cases the photo will appear sharper and better than the original MLS image and will allow shoppers to zoom in on the image to see more detail.

If your original photos are higher resolution than your local MLS allows, Zillow may display them at a higher resolution. Image appearance can vary depending on the viewer’s screen size and aspect ratio.

Can photographers customize how their branding appears?

In your Aryeo profile, you can upload your company logo and website URL. Changing what’s in your company profile will directly reflect what appears on Zillow.

Will photographer branding be visible to all Zillow users?

Yes, if opted in, everyone who visits the Zillow listings will see your branding below the photos whenever one of your HD photos is displayed.

Will my HD photos be displayed on all devices and platforms?

Yes, HD photography will appear on Zillow listings across web and mobile when the feature is enabled.

Is there a file size or format requirement for HD photos?

There is no specific file size or format required, but we recommend the resolution of the photos you deliver through Aryeo exceeds the resolution limits of your local MLS. Zillow will display the photos in as high a resolution as we are able to without compromising the user experience. Please note that low resolution photos uploaded to Aryeo will display as low resolution on Zillow.

Do I need special equipment for HD photography?

No, photographers can use the photography equipment they already have.

Can agents remove my branding?

No, this feature is managed by photographers. Agents benefit from having higher-resolution media on their listings to help them highlight the home and deliver a richer and higher-quality listing experience to consumers on Zillow.

Will the photography need to be added to the MLS?

Yes. In order for photographs to be displayed in HD, the same image must be uploaded to the MLS by the agents you work with. The HD photograph will appear on Zillow when there is a matching photo in the MLS.

If I add additional images to an order I already delivered, will I need to re-deliver in order for the images to be displayed with photographer branding and enhanced listings?

Yes - and the photographs will also need to be in the MLS.
