Chat Integration

Learn how to integrate FreshDesk, Intercom, Zendesk, or Smallchat with Aryeo to enable real-time chat support in your customer portal.

Overview

Aryeo makes it easy to connect your preferred live chat service directly to your customer experience. Whether you use FreshDesk, Intercom, Zendesk, or Smallchat, you can integrate your chat widget so visitors and clients can message your team right from your property websites and customer portal.


Supported Chat Integrations

  • FreshDesk

  • Intercom

  • Zendesk

  • Smallchat

Each integration allows your chat widget to appear in the bottom-right corner of your property websites and customer portal.


FreshDesk Integration

  1. On your FreshDesk account, go to Settings > Channel > Chat and make sure that your FreshChat is activated.

  2. Click on “Copy from FreshChat” to be redirected to FreshChat.

  3. Then setup the widget you will use to connect with Aryeo.

  4. Click on “Channels” then go to “Web Widget” or create a new widget > Embed Code then copy the token and host.

  5. Paste the token and host to Aryeo. App Store > Chat Integration > FreshDesk

  6. Once done, customers will be able to see the chat widget in the bottom right corner of your customer portal.


Intercom Integration

  1. Go to Intercom > Home > Add chat to your website, and copy the App ID

  2. Make sure to add first Aryeo as a trusted domain. In Intercom, under 'Set Your Controls' and 'List your trusted domains', be sure to add *.aryeo.com to the list!

  3. Go to Aryeo App Store > Intercom > paste the App ID.

  4. Once done, customers will be able to see the chat widget in the bottom right corner of your customer portal.


Zendesk Integration

  1. Go to Zendesk Settings > Admin Center or click on the 4 small square icon in the upper right corner of your screen.

  2. Go to Channels > click on Messaging > Select a widget

  3. Click on Installation and copy the embed code

  4. Go to Aryeo > App Store > Chat Integration > Zendesk > paste the embed code

  5. Once done, customers will be able to see the chat widget in the bottom right corner of your customer portal.


Smallchat Integration

  1. Login or click “Add to Slack”.

  2. Create a channel or use an existing channel (if any), then copy the embed code.

  3. Go to Aryeo > App Store > Chat Integration > Smallchat and paste the embed code.

  4. Once done, your customers will be able to see the chat widget in the bottom right corner of your Customer Portal and property websites.


FAQ

Q: Can I switch chat providers later?

A: Yes, you can return to the Chat Integration section in the App Store and replace the settings anytime.

Q: Where will the chat appear?

A: The chat widget will show on the bottom-right corner of your property websites and client-facing pages.

Q: Is this available on all Aryeo plans?

A: Chat integration is available to Aryeo Pro customers.
