Introduction:

Thank you for creating your Google Developer Account. If you have not already done so, please verify your Website for your Google Developer Account by following the below steps:

Step-by-Step Walkthrough:

Technically, your website may already be verified, you just need to send the verification request to Google. This is the most favorable option, so let’s begin here:

Pre-Verified Website Steps:

  1. Under the flag "Finish setting up your developer account,"

    1. Click "View Details",

  2. Next, scroll down and click "Verify Website"

    1. Within this page, scroll to the bottom where you will see your website address.

    2. Click the "Verify" button beneath your website.

      1. If it notifies you that your website is verified, ignore the rest of this email because your website verification is complete!

If it just notified you that your website is verified, your website verification is complete and you can proceed with step 3 of the Mobile Onboarding Process: Apple Developer Account Setup.

However, if it did notify you that your website is verified, then you must continue with the following steps:

Unverified Website Steps:

  1. Go back to the Home Screen of Your Google Developer Account by clicking: Home.

  2. Under the flag "Finish setting up your developer account,"

    1. Click "View Details",

  3. Next, scroll down and click "Go to Search Console"

  4. Now that you are in the search console,

    1. Type in your website domain in the left column (for example: if your website is aryeo.com, then just type in aryeo.com) and click “Continue”.

    2. A popup that says: “Verify Domain Ownership via DNS Record

      1. By default, they will recommend a TXT record,

      2. Change this to a CNAME record. (see above screenshot)

        1. The top value: CNAME Label / Host will be entered in the CNAME record in step 5.a.ii

        2. The bottom value: CNAME Destination / Target will be entered in the CNAME record in step 5.a.iii

  5. Login to your domain host (Squarespace, GoDaddy, Wix, etc.)

    1. Add a DNS record on your domain host.

      1. Type: CNAME record,

      2. For the first box, enter the CNAME Label / Host value you got from step 4.b.ii.1

      3. For the second box, enter the CNAME Destination / Target value you got from step 4.b.ii.2

    2. Save the DNS Record.

  6. Switch back to the Verify Domain Host popup and click “Verify”

  7. Finally, complete the above “Pre Verified Website Steps” which were the first three steps in this article.

  8. Your website verification should now be complete.

Next Steps:

Thank you for working through that! If you are still hitting troubles, please contact cs-specialist@aryeo.com, and they will be able to assist you. If your website is now verified, you can proceed with Phase 3 of the Mobile Onboarding Process: Create Apple Developer Account.
