Create Your Google Developer Account:

Create the Google Developer Account for your company to host the Android version of your Custom Mobile App.

Introduction:

Thank you for completing the Initial Mobile Onboarding Steps including qualifying for a custom app, finding your DUNS Number, and submitting your app information. If you have not completed those steps, please go here to complete those steps. Once those steps are completed, you can proceed with creating your Google and Apple Developer Accounts. Please note, you can do both of these steps simultaneously. To create your Google Developer account, please follow the below steps:

Step-by-Step Walkthrough:

  1. Sign into the Google Play Console:

    • Click “Go to Play Console”

    • Enable two-factor authentication if not already enabled.

  2. Create a New Developer Account:

    • Under “An Organization” click “Company or Business” and then click the “Get Started” link.

      1. Do not create an individual account, otherwise, you will have to restart the process.

    • Enter the Developer Name (this should be your company name, not the app name).

  3. Link a Payments Profile to Verify Your Organization:

    • Click “Create or select payments profile.”

    • Select “Create new payments profile” and click Continue.

    • Enter your company’s DUNS number and click Next.

  4. Fill Out Organization Details:

    • Organization Size: Enter the number of employees.

    • Organization Phone Number: Enter the business phone number with the country code and no spaces (e.g., +12223331234 for the US).

    • Organization Website: Enter the company website including https:// (e.g., https://www.aryeo.com/).

  5. Fill Out Public Developer Profile Information:

    • Enter the developer phone number with the country code and no spaces.

      1. Click “Verify phone number”, enter the verification code sent by Google, and click “verify”.

    • Enter the developer email address (this should be an email address using your company domain).

    • Click “Verify email address”, enter the verification code sent by Google, and click “verify”.

  6. Fill Out the “About You” Information:

    • In the text box, type “N/A.”

      1. Unless you have previously developed on the Google Play Store.

    • In the follow-up question, select “No” and click Next.

  7. Fill Out Apps Information:

    • Number of apps: 1.

    • Earning money on Google Play: No (since downloading the app is free).

    • App Categories: “None of the above.”

  8. Fill Out How Google Contacts You:

    • Contact Name: Enter the company owner’s name.

    • Contact email address: Enter the email address where you would want Google to contact you if needed.

    • Preferred Language: Select your preferred language.

    • Contact phone number: Enter the phone number where you would want Google to contact you if needed.

  9. Agree to Terms:

    • Read and agree to Google’s terms.

    • Click “Create account and pay” (there will be a one-time $25 charge that Aryeo will reimburse via credit to your subscription).
